My husband and I are busy raising our two young boys. I am a nurse and have a small sewing business making children's clothing. I love crafting in general and seem to have an affinity for ones that take up the most space.
My family and I moved to Heartland in search of a community that has a sense of community in it. I joined the Heartland Community Association to be proactive in creating a safe and caring neighborhood where people want to be involved and get to know each other, where we can share stories and ideas and make this our home for decades.

Jana - Vice President
I am a Heartland resident for 8 years now, I moved here from Canmore in 2015. I am a realtor with Royal LePage Benchmark and I help families selling and buying their homes. I am a runner, I do yoga and I am a mom of 2 cats and a German Shepherd puppy. Joining the Heartland Community Association helps me to give back to the community that has treated me so well over the past six years and helping to build an even stronger community where families feel safe and happy and where people have a lot of fun together!

I moved to Heartland in August of 2020 after retiring from the Office of the Surveyor General in Peterborough, Ontario. The move allowed me to be closer to my daughter and three grandchildren who live in Cochrane.

Having moved from Ontario in 2021 for work, I am a newer resident to the Heartland area. I am a mom to a 5 year old Lab/Shepherd pupster, an 8 year old grey tabby cat and an 1.5 year orange tabby. I like to read, paint & walk/hike in my free time. I look forward to meeting and learning more about those in my community & helping support in anyway I can.
